Home Schooling Organizations
Home School Legal Defense Association is a nonprofit advocacy
organization established to defend and advance the constitutional right
of parents to direct the education of their children and to protect
family freedoms. Through annual memberships, HSLDA is tens of
thousands of families united in service together, providing a strong
voice when and where needed.
California Home School Network (CHN) was founded in 1994 by a
statewide group of home schooling families. They are an
all-volunteer organization of energetic and dedicated home
schooling families working to preserve our own educational
freedom. CHN monitors and responds to legislation which may
pose a threat to home schooling. They also inform and empower
home schooling families, educate the public, and foster community
among home educators in the state of California.  Every year they
host a home schooling conference in Orange County.
Catholic Homeschooling.  Where Faith, Family and Education
meet. Yearly home schooling conference in Chino Hills in June.
This includes early morning Mass, excellent speakers and a large
exhibit hall from popular home schooling vendors.

CFS (Christian Family Schools) of San Diego promotes private Christian
homeschooling and includes a number of local support groups in communities
throughout San Diego County.  They also organize events and activities available
to members and non-members including their annual Expo Homeschool
Convention featuring popular speakers and a large exhibit hall to assist
homeschoolers in many of their curriculum needs.
